Stork IMM is also in business during the coronavirus. Where possible, colleagues work from home and if necessary they are at their workplace.

We have creatively thought of a way how we can keep in touch with each other, we’re using Skype, FaceTime and Zoom a lot. This allows our production to continue, so the beautiful injection molding machines from Stork are made as usual.

Not entirely as usual, we must of course adhere to the guidelines of the RIVM (Dutch National Institute for Health and Environment). This means, among other things, that we guarantee in our large workshop that we keep 1.5 meters away from each other and that we are not around with too many people.

But also with these measures we produce the reliable Stork IMM injection molding machines as you are used to from us. We are proud on our colleagues who make this possible in these times!

Service

We offer Remote Service, Remote Support and Remote training. At the Service department the back office colleagues work alternately from home, so that there are few people in the office. As usual, they are available to you by telephone and e-mail!

Our service technicians are available to you. They work on location if they themselves do not have any symptoms off illness and do not have sick housemates. On location, they will also adhere to the guidelines of the RIVM and the local ones. We offer the high level of service you are used to from us, also during this coronavirus. We know how important decent knowledge of the machines is for you. Perhaps now is the time for more education. We can help you with this by offering remote training for our injection moulding machines.

Certification

Last Thursday, March 26, 2020, we have had the annual control audit quality management system, resulting in a recommendation for the continuation of the certificate.

A good result, which was partly due to the many efforts and activities that we have carried out as an organization over the past year. Due to the current circumstances, the audit was not conducted on location, but was conducted via a conference call. Nevertheless, we have been able to properly explain the various parts of the management system and the audit was experienced positively by all parties involved.

Exhibitions

Due to the measures concerning the coronavirus, the international trade fair PLASTPOL in Kielce, Poland will not be open from 19 to 20 May. The fair has been moved to October 6-9. Unfortunately we will not be present because Stork IMM will present itself from October 13th to 17th at the international trade fair for the plastic processing industry - FAKUMA in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
